Activate is a 3rd- through 5th-grade microschool located in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. We focus on art, hands-on learning, and support for students with dyslexia. Our program offers high-quality instruction that is effective for both neurodivergent and neurotypical students. Additionally, there is daily self-directed learning time, weekly field trips, and long recesses.
We also host popular, full-day art-based summer camps for incoming 3rd- through 6th-graders in the community.
